The Commission for the Compact is taking the Compact forward. It works with stakeholders to build on their work and investment in the Compact and its Codes of Good Practice. Key to its aims is effective implementation of the Compact and greater benefit for people and communities through excellent policies, programmes and services.
This guidance from HM Treasury is intended to help government departments, non-departmental public bodies (NDPBs) and other funding bodies distributing public money to the third sector. It will also be of interest to the third sector, as recipients of funding, to better understand the considerations that funding bodies need to bear in mind during the funding process.
