Find your Local Development Agency or Council for Voluntary Service (CVS)

Your local development agency or CVS will be able to provide information and advice on a range of issues. This site provides a directory you can search.

Find your local Rural Community Council (RCC)

Find your local Rural Community Council (RCC) on the Action with Communities in Rural England (ACRE) website. You local RCC will be able to provide information and advice on a range of issues.
If you can’t find your local area RCC through the ACRE website, you can contact the Federation of Rural Community Councils a network of mostly northern RCCs that are not members of ACRE – at North Yorkshire RCC, William House, Shipton Road, Skelton, York, YO3 6XW, telephone 01904 645271.

National Association for Voluntary and Community Action (NAVCA)

NAVCA is the national umbrella agency for local development agencies and CVS.

You may have a specialist funding advice service in your area. Many are part of – or linked to – a Local Development Agency or Council for Voluntary Service, and these can be tracked down through NAVCA’s website, above.
