Funding is a high priority for all voluntary and community groups and social enterprises and essential to enable their activities and services to take place. Most people associate the term ‘funding’ with a monetary value such as a grant although groups can secure non-cash funding (such as free rent or volunteer time).
Fundraising is about asking for and securing those cash and non-money contributions.
